FAQs

Q: How much does EasyDues cost?
A: EasyDues costs $295 per year, per chapter or organization, no matter how many members your chapter has. There are no other fees, other than a 3% fee which is added to all member credit card payments. This 3% fee is applied because the payments are made through PayPal, which charges a fee of approximately 3% to your PayPal account for receiving payments. By adding 3% to member credit card payments, your organization does not lose any money for taking payments by credit card. Click here to purchase EasyDues for your chapter.

Q: Does EasyDues create budgets?
A: Yes! EasyDues has two types of budgets that your organization can use, single event budgets and period of time budgets. Single event budgets are used for events such as fundraisers and formals, which happen on specifed dates. Period of time budgets are used to make the semester or annual budgets for your chapter which involve dues collection, and manage all incoming, and outgoing payments for the organization.

Q: Who can use EasyDues?
A: Anyone related to your group can be added to your EasyDues account. All active and inactive members can log-in to EasyDues (with access restrictions according to their position). Alumni can also log-in to access the chapter's alumni directory and make donations online by credit card.

Q: Is EasyDues Secure?
A: Of course! It is important to know that while EasyDues uses the most up to date internet security available, EasyDues does not ask you for any private information! The only information required to add a user to your EasyDues account is the member's email address and full name. Further contact information can be entered by the treaurer or the member, but it is not required. All finances that are sent through EasyDues (credit card payments for members and alumni donations) are handled through PayPal, the leader in secure online payments.

Q: Who takes in the money?
A: All payments that members give to the treasurer in person (cash or check) are taken in by the treasurer. None of this money is touched by EasyDues, since EasyDues is simply tracking the payments as being either paid or unpaid. Credit card payments that are made by members on EasyDues are sent to the chapter's PayPal account.

Q: Can I pay my dues by credit card?
A: Of course! EasyDues accepts all major credit cards for dues payments and alumni donations. Credit card payments can be made at any time; however, a 3% fee is added to the payment amount to cover PayPal's fee to your chapter (EasyDues does not profit on this amount).
